28.211 — Manufacture of Heat Pumps

This subclass includes: - manufacture of all types of heat pumps, including: • reversible heat pumps • non reversible heat pumps • monobloc, split system and ground source units • heat pumps for space heating, cooling, industrial processes or hot water supply - manufacture of heat pump systems incorporating fans, compressors, condensers, evaporators or humidity control devices - manufacture of domestic and non domestic heat pumps

This subclass also includes: - manufacture of heat pump modules or components when produced as integrated heat pump units

This subclass excludes: - manufacture of parts not constituting complete heat pump units (e.g. standalone fans, compressors), see 27.11, 28.13, 28.25 - manufacture of domestic refrigerators or freezers, see 27.51 - manufacture of reversible or non reversible cooling/heating equipment not based on heat pump technology, see 28.21/9 - manufacture of air conditioning machines without heat pump capability, see 28.25
